Distance Learning Programs in the School of Public Health & Health Services
The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services transfered the management of our distance education certificate program to the College of Professional Studies on July 1, 2002. This decision does not end the opportunity for on-line earning of a certificate from the University; in fact we fully expect that the program will grow. This decision does, however, change the model for how students are recruited for programs. The new strategy builds on a cohort model. This will require a minimum number of students for any class to be offered and could result in multiple sections of courses. We do not expect to see a full courses to be in place until the spring semester of 2003.

Please contact the Office of Recruitment and Admissions at 202/994-2160 or email sphhsinfo@gwumc.edu for information and an application form for our on campus certificate and degree programs.
