Mary Enzman Hagedorn, RN, Ph.D, HNC, CNS, C-PNP
Director and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner,
Associate Professor
Fountain School Based Health Program
Colorado Springs, CO

What is your background?

I have been a nurse practitioner for 21 years and during that time have been involved with the start up of several school based health programs in Denver and 2 since joining the faculty at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. My most recent projects were the development of the Student Health Center at CU the Springs and the school based health program in Fountain. Most of my business experience has come from the development of a personal business that encompasses legal consultation, pediatric consultation and education services. I was mentored by several “seasoned” practitioners who were involved in grass roots efforts of starting primary health services for indigent and underserved populations. During my career I have also had several management positions.
